We would like to inform you about some important points regarding renting our houseboats: Minimum number of people on board: For maneuverability and lock-through, a minimum of three adults (or two adults + one competent minor) are required. Weather-related restrictions: In winds of force 2 or higher, the marina may prevent the release of houseboats to ensure the safety of all involved. The charter license is limited to the duration of the trip and can be obtained from the age of 18. A current inland waterway license is not required. Guests with little boating experience but a valid inland waterway license are welcome to book additional skipper training (45 minutes, €50, minimum age 16). Fuel Consumption Fuel will be billed according to consumption at the end of your trip at the marina: €3 per liter, payable on-site. Family discount: Receive a 3% discount for children under 15 years of age. Please note that the minimum stay is 3 nights, and there is a 15% surcharge for stays of 3-6 nights. The guaranteed boat handover is at 4 p.m. However, you are welcome to arrive as early as 2 p.m. (recommended for charter guests) to complete check-in and cruise planning at the marina.

We really had a great, adventurous holiday on the houseboat ? the communication beforehand was great, the boat was great, even if it isn't exactly easy to drive ? The only small negative point was that we weren't told in advance that spending the night outside of a marina is basically impossible because the battery on board only lasts about 6/7 hours. Other than that, everything was great, especially the nice people at the home marina ☺️
War alles top
Great vacation. The only shame was that the batteries and water tanks were too small to anchor and spend the night on the water while using the amenities on board. The gas stove also didn't work without shore power. Other than that, everything was impressively good! Extremely friendly instructions from staff. Uncomplicated and quick. Thank you :)
A very nice boat, which had suffered some external damage from the previous renter. The bimini rods were bent, making assembly difficult. The marina did its best, but not all of the damage could be repaired before we rented it. It should also be clearly indicated and communicated that this type of boat is very susceptible to wind and is therefore difficult to steer. At least 2 adults are required to handle it in the locks. We experienced accidents with this type of boat almost every day when mooring and locking. Our boating experience with an adult was therefore severely limited to Röblinsee and the marina. That was a real shame, especially since I had explicitly mentioned the crew before booking. I would like to see a concession on the price here, the description and information about the boat are not accurate!
We had a great trip with the boat. The boat is very comfortable and drives very well even after a bit of practice. The only drawback was that the batteries were not working properly, which meant that we couldn't anchor away from the houseboat harbor. After just one hour, the system gave an error message about low voltage and we spent several hours trying to find the cause of the error. What bothered me a little was that the last two comments already addressed this, but nothing else was done. Apart from the issue with the batteries, everything was great.
