If you would like to rent a motorboat in Friesland, you have come to the right place. Sailing is a way of life in diverse Friesland, which means rent a motorboat, hop on board and discover the best way to see and experience this beautiful province from a different perspective. Chat with other water enthusiasts as you cruise, admire the traditional windmills on the shore, grab a bike for a tour of cozy villages, or dock in one of the hip new harbors with a variety of modern facilities. Bed linen is not included as standard but can be rented for €12 per set. Please indicate whether this is desired. Compulsory cleaning €50 deducted from a deposit of €350 to be paid in cash at the port upon departure. Pets are allowed for an additional cleaning fee of €35. Please note: Jobke does not have a bow thruster! Due to their generous dimensions, the charter boats are extremely comfortable and stable, i.e. all 4 boats are fully equipped with a kitchen, seating and sleeping accommodation, a so-called private house on the water or, as they say in Germany, a houseboat. Due to the low headroom (2.30 m) and the shallow draft, you can reach a large sailing area, so you pay less bridge fees. Sailing is easy and quick to learn because, in addition to the diesel engine, the Frisian motor cutters have a bow thruster, which makes maneuvering even easier. I was incredibly positively surprised by my five-day boat rental in Sneek, the Netherlands. Everything was extremely well organized and the employee Mart really took care of everything. Not only was he very friendly and competent, but he also made sure that everything ran smoothly. I was particularly impressed by how affordable the whole thing was - a really great value for money! A big plus was that Mart also speaks German, which made communication even easier for me. His support and friendliness really made my stay perfect. I can highly recommend the rental company and am already looking forward to coming back soon!
With our family we enjoyed a long weekend on Tjobke. What an incredibly beautiful authentic boat; renovated with a sense of atmosphere. Even in stormy weather, we stayed dry. After some practice we also got the hang of sailing; that took some getting used to because Tjobke does not have a bow thruster and my husband is the only one who is regularly on the water. The communication was smooth and the hiccups were solved as quickly as possible because it is and remains a very old boat that you have to be patient with.

During our trip there were some deficiencies (lack of electricity, no water). We had to change the boat and had to change our route. After the trip we agreed with the owner a repayment of money. It took a very long time with many unanswered phone calls to get it back. A bad end for our holidays.
Nice old boat at a fair price. Staff super friendly and uncomplicated. If you don't have too high expectations of a boat you will be satisfied. We would be happy to come back.
