Did you know that Gadwall ducks make cackling noises when feeding on the water surface? They are good swimmers, just like our trimaran houseboat, which has found its home port here in the sheltered side arm of the Müritz. With its 50 hp outboard motor at the stern, 1200 watt solar panels, navigation and anchor light for the night, it glides slowly and evenly through the flora and fauna. When the weather is nice, it takes you on small and large discovery tours or anchors in beautiful bays. You will be amazed when a family of ducks swim past the tinted, floor-to-ceiling windows in the early morning and settle down on the bow or stern terrace for breakfast. On the upper deck there is a cozy lounge group to relax in, so that you can listen to the hustle and bustle on the water and in the harbour. At the open driver's cab, the captain keeps a perfect overview, contact with nature and always has a cool head to react quickly. In our facility we tried to be as sustainable as possible. In the captain's room there is a 140x200cm floating bed made of real, recycled waste wood. The 7-zone barrel pocket spring core mattress was developed in Germany and produced in particularly sustainable production facilities in the EU. The crew cabin is also equipped with a real wood bunk bed with 2 bunks each 80x200cm. Here, too, 7-zone pocket spring core mattresses ensure perfect ventilation and moisture transport as well as sweet dreams. The bedding comes from the high-quality hotel industry and is additionally covered with anti-allergic protective covers. In the galley and mess there is everything you need to prepare delicious meals for a few days at sea. A 3-burner propane gas stove, refrigerator 108L and 18L freezer, thermal coffee press, toaster, good crockery and kitchen utensils. A gas grill can be borrowed from the harbor master. If you don't want it to be quite so cuddly, there is an additional sleeping area with spring core cold foam padding 90x200cm. On cool, stormy days or in autumn, underfloor heating ensures comfort in a safe haven. Frost-free fresh water and waste water pumping stations are available for the winter months, which are connected by the harbor master.
