Explore the nature and surroundings of the Mecklenburg Lake District. At night, you can moor in dreamy marinas, during the day you can go on a voyage of discovery or unwind on the water. When planning the boat, we put a lot of thought into how we could make life as easy as possible for every recreational captain: bow and stern thrusters, rudder angle indicator, depth sounder, as well as the design of the rudder, steering, and 50 HP engine allow for effortless maneuvering in all directions, even without any seafaring experience. With the rearview camera, you can keep an eye on everything. Captains without a license will be trained by the marina and will acquire a charter license for a fee. Your floating vacation apartment (50 m²) features floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area and spacious sliding doors to the bow terrace, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with an oven (gas and electricity). Air conditioning for hot days and central heating (propane gas) in all rooms for winter combine your adventure with the amenities of an apartment. Cozy summer and winter evenings end comfortably by the fireplace. The shaded roof terrace for sun worshippers, explorers, and long summer evenings invites you to an additional 35 m². The houseboat has two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a double bed (160 x 200 cm), and the other bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed and a single bed. A sofa bed for two additional people is located in the salon. A large flat-screen TV in the living area and another in the double room feature a high-quality, self-aligning satellite system. You can connect your own Amazon or Netflix sticks to the TVs. All of our houseboats are equipped with a Wi-Fi router. A grill for a BBQ evening, as well as a stand-up paddleboard, canoe, electric inflatable boat, or bicycles, can be rented from the harbormaster for a fee. Dogs are not allowed. Our home port is the Marina Röblinsee in Fürstenberg an der Havel. Please note that our houseboats cannot navigate Lake Müritz due to restrictions. We would like to inform you about some important points regarding renting our houseboats: Minimum number of people on board: For maneuverability and lock-through of the houseboats, a minimum of three adults (or two adults + one competent minor) are required. Weather-related restrictions: In winds of force 2 or higher, the marina may prevent the release of houseboats to ensure the safety of all involved. Charter license All boats can be operated without a license. In this case, an approximately three-hour theoretical and practical charter license is mandatory on-site. The charter license is limited to the duration of the trip and can be obtained from the age of 18. A current inland waterway license is not required. Guests with little boating experience but a valid inland waterway license are welcome to book additional skipper training (45 minutes €50, minimum age 16). Gasoline consumption Gasoline is billed according to consumption at the end of the trip in the marina: €3 per liter, payable on-site. Family discount: Receive a 3% discount for children under 15. Please note that the minimum stay is 3 nights, and there is a 15% surcharge for stays of 3-6 nights. The guaranteed boat handover takes place at 4 p.m. However, you are welcome to arrive as early as 2 p.m. (recommended for charter guests) to complete check-in and cruise planning at the marina.
