Origins, our Oceanis 343 is a sailboat that is both very safe and comfortable. It is characterized by an impressive volume and a headroom of 2 meters in the saloon. Its 3 cabins, 2 at the rear and one at the front, keep the saloon permanently available. The very warm interior is in new condition, it is good to live at the sea as well as on a stopover! Hot water, oven and refrigerator, deck shower, cockpit table, cylinder-mounted autopilot, new companionway hood and bimini will contribute in various ways to your comfort on board... An optional asymmetrical spinnaker completes the magnificent new mainsail, 2024, and the very recent furling genoa. A motorized annex and coastal WiFi by Starlink are offered as options. AIS and electric windlass complete the equipment. Based on Quai Garnier, right in the town center of Les Sables d'Olonne, it allows you to enjoy the nice bars and restaurants of the fishing port as well as the large beach or the Halles market, all within a few minutes' walk! we can offer you an optional parking space a few minutes walk from the boat, for the entire duration of the rental. The port of Les Sables d’Olonne is located equidistant from the Ile d’Yeu and the Ile de Ré, what more can I say! Currently on permanent leave, and living 30 minutes from Les Sables, I will be very happy to share with you our good tips and good addresses! Didier, Elie and I, the co-owners, will continue to carefully prepare this pretty boat for your pleasure and also for a great trip to come! PS: for reasons of hygiene, animals are not allowed on board.

It was a great day for us, and Max and Elie we’re good in communication and made life easy. The boat was docked at a perfect spot, meaning easy to leave and to get back in. I sailed with the family. The boat is easily manuverable and we sailed using only the Genoa as we wanted to go slower than normal when we were leaving and as it was the kids first time sailing. I would say if you want a hassle free rental with good communication, Max and Elie really displayed these qualities. Next time for certain, I will take for more than one day.
We had a great weekend aboard Origins! Very well maintained and very well equipped boat. It sails well and is pleasant to steer. The location at the Garnier quay is a plus to enjoy Les Sables (pontoon in the city center). Max and Elie make themselves easily available and are above all very accommodating. We will come back with pleasure to sail on Origins!

The boat is in very good condition. It is comfortable for 6 people. Max is very attached to his boat and he will be able to advise you on navigation.

Max and Elie are responsive and available to answer questions. The welcome is organized, warm and serious at the same time. It takes time to explain things well. Even while browsing, Max answers questions. The boat is very well equipped (Epirb beacon, heating, power strip, fishing equipment, knives, kitchen equipment, spinnaker in good condition, lazy bag, outboard, etc.). It sails regularly and almost everything is in working order and when this is not the case it was specified at the start (the fuel gauge). There are many things already on board that we were not aware of. So I advise you to ask beforehand so as not to have duplicates. To be perfect by quibbling, the fairing could be better done and 2/3 cupboards better tidy but that's anecdotal. Many thanks again.
Despite terrible weather which did not allow us to make the cruise we would have liked, we spent 3 very pleasant days with Max on his sailboat. His unfailing availability and his kindness allowed the whole family to keep a good mood despite these conditions. Max shared his passion for sailing with our children, took time to explain the maneuvers, made us discover the Sables d'Olonne and did everything so that we could sail a little anyway. The boat is comfortable and well maintained. We look forward to returning to Origins another time!

Max left the boat to us for 4 days to take advantage of the sun and the little breeze in July: everything is square, efficient and pleasant, both in terms of organization and on board where all the necessary equipment is available - equipment very complete, including for beginners - genoa furler, autopilot, everything is in perfect condition - the boat holds up very well on tacks upwind and reach - the navigation instruments are ultra-efficient (Navionics on board, etc.) - every detail is under control! A big thank you to Max for trusting us with his boat for this navigation. We wanted to go straight away!

Excellent 4 day stay. Greeted by Max who is great. The boat is clean, well maintained and fully equipped (there is even a chess set). The berth in the port is ideally well placed, no worries about setting sail or docking. Max listens and also gives good advice. I recommend. ⛵️ Good wind to all. ⛵️
Very nice navigation on Max's sailboat. Sailboat very well maintained and well prepared to face difficult sea and wind conditions. We had up to 27 knots in gusts and it held up well. Max is very accommodating and very pleasant. Always available. We recommend !

WE with friends on Origins, round trip to the Ile d'Yeu: perfect conditions on a niquel boat! Place at the port quai Garnier in the center, close to shops, etc.. Everything is well adapted in this boat! Max prepared the boat for us with great care, and there is everything we need on this boat! Navionics on iPads, solar panels, etc. are really a plus for navigation comfort. Max is adorable, simple contact, etc... I highly recommend, do not hesitate!

We were very well received by the owner who took the time to describe his boat to us. very good navigation installation with very practical navionix. the boat is as described and very well equipped. Only downside the free space to maneuver the slightly reduced genoa winch; watch your fingers. But the owner can't help it. We were able to carry out our program and take pleasure in a good force 5 to 6. Place at the port easy to access and return without problem to Les Sables. I recommend this rental that I will take again next time.
Short round trip to the island of Yeu in somewhat tough conditions on Origins, sea cruiser, reassuring and good walker. But above all, equipped and maintained with obsessive care, the boat is absolutely impeccable and offers a downright unexpected level of comfort: navionics on iPad, AIS, 2 heaters, 2 spinnakers, life jackets, dinghy on gantry, etc, etc, etc. . As for Max, he's probably the coolest yachtsman in the west: hyper attentive, always available, full of good advice and a caustic good mood. Next time I'm looking for a boat in the area, I know I don't have to search anymore.

We rented the Origins sailboat for 4 days and our stay was perfect!
