The four of us had a few great days on the houseboat Doma - which is a cozy, floating apartment and offers a lot of space. The entire crew on site was very friendly, helpful and competent, which is why everything went completely smoothly from check-in to check-out. We felt well informed and looked after for our short stay and apart from minor things, such as a lot of old cobwebs outside and smeared windows, everything was in great condition and prepared for us. If you are aware that you are not driving a sports boat and take everything calmly, nothing will happen. We would like to thank you for the great experience and I am sure that it will not be the last time. (:
The inverter kept breaking down. The result was no hot water, additional layover times and costs in the marina due to waiting for an electrician and nights that could not be spent at sea as planned. The damage could not be repaired in the short term. Even with shore power connected, it was not possible to use the TV, kitchen appliances and coffee machine. The refrigerator kept breaking down and our food got warm. Unfortunately, that was extremely annoying and not how we imagined our vacation. I will contact Click&Boat again about the points mentioned.
The houseboat Roma was basically well equipped, we found it clean and the price-performance ratio was reasonably reasonable. What was extremely annoying, however, was the fact that we had clearly stated to the owner Patrizia before renting that we did NOT want the Roma, but the Miami. We were initially promised the Miami and then we received the message about a month before the start of the rental period that we would have to switch to the Redwine, which was no problem for us as the Redwine was the same as the Miami in terms of furniture and furnishings. When we then arrived at the marina, nobody knew anything about the Redwine and we would inevitably have to take the Roma, which we never wanted. The next day we discovered the Redwine at the bide where we anchored with the Roma. Nobody knew about the check-out we had ordered either, which was equally annoying. Certainly understandable if you only booked 5 days in total and then had to be stressed on the day of arrival and then had to check out at 9 a.m. on the day of departure instead of 12 noon. What was not acceptable, however, was that Patrizia was not available on the day of arrival and only wrote a brief message the next day and did not apologize in any way. We did not receive a personal reply to another message. The people at the marina were very understanding and tried hard, but were unable to help us. We may rent a houseboat again, but definitely not from Patrizia.
