Explore the nature and surroundings of the Mecklenburg Lake District. At night you dock in dreamy marinas, during the day you go on a voyage of discovery or let your soul dangle on the water. When planning the boat, we put a lot of thought into how we could make it easy for every leisure captain: bow and stern thrusters, rudder position indicator, depth sounder as well as the design of the rudder, steering and 50 HP engine allow easy maneuvering in all directions without any seafaring experience. With the rear view camera you can keep an eye on everything. Captains without an inland driving license are instructed by the marina and acquire a charter license for a fee. Your floating holiday apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows in the living area and spacious sliding doors to the bow terrace and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven (gas and electricity). Air conditioning for hot days and winter equipment with heating in all rooms (central heating (propane gas)) combine your adventure with the amenities of an apartment. Cozy summer and winter evenings end comfortably by the fireplace. The shaded roof terrace for sun worshippers, explorers and long summer evenings invites you to another 35 m². The houseboat has 2 bedrooms. A large flat-screen TV in the living area and another in the double room have a high-quality self-aligning satellite system. You can use this to connect your own Amazon or Netflix sticks to the TVs. All of our houseboats are equipped with a WiFi router. A grill for a BBQ evening as well as a stand-up paddle, canoe, electric inflatable boats or bicycles can be rented from the harbor master for a fee. Dogs are not allowed. Handover and return days Boat handovers always take place Monday-Saturday. Returns also Monday-Saturday. The marina is closed on Sundays. Our home port is in the Marina Röblinsee in Fürstenberg an der Havel. Please note that our houseboats cannot sail on the Müritz due to restrictions. We would like to inform you about some important points about renting our houseboats: Minimum number of people on board: At least 3 adults are required for the maneuverability and locking of the houseboats. Weather-related restrictions: If the wind speed is 2 or higher, the marina can prevent the houseboats from being issued in order to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Charter license All boats can be driven without a license. In this case, a charter license of around 3 hours on site in theory and practice is mandatory. The charter license is limited to the duration of the trip. If you have a current inland driving license, you do not need a charter license. Guests with little boating experience but an inland driving license are welcome to book additional skipper training (45 minutes €50). Petrol consumption Petrol is billed according to consumption at the end of the trip in the marina: €3 per liter and to be paid on site. Family discount: Get 3% for children under 15 years old Please note that the minimum stay is 3 nights and the surcharge for stays of 3-6 nights is 15%. The guaranteed boat handover takes place at 4 p.m. However, you are welcome to arrive as early as 2 p.m. (recommended for charter guests) to check in and plan your trip in the marina.
