No license required (charter license) The license-free houseboat "Roma" was built in 2023 and invites you to a special kind of vacation. Discover the Mecklenburg Lake District and unwind. The modern houseboat consists of a spacious living and dining area and 2 bedrooms, which offer space for up to 7 people (1x double bed, 1 bunk bed + 1 single bed, 1 double sofa bed in the salon). There is also a full bathroom with a washbasin, shower and toilet at your disposal. The kitchenette is fully equipped and has a refrigerator and freezer, a stove with oven and a dishwasher. Extensive kitchen utensils enable relaxed cooking. Enjoy the view from the floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows while you sit together at the large dining table. When the sun is shining, the spacious sun terrace with comfortable lounge furniture invites you to linger. If necessary, you can stretch a large awning over the terrace in just three steps. Enjoy the sun or take a dip in the cool water. If the weather is a little cooler, make yourself comfortable inside - a heater and a cozy gas fireplace as well as WiFi and a large smart TV are available on our boat. Enjoy the untouched nature, the sun and the water and recharge your batteries on our floating holiday home. A vacation that you will not soon forget. A grill for a BBQ evening as well as a stand-up paddle, canoe, electric inflatable boats or bicycles can be rented from the harbor master for a fee. Dogs are not allowed. Handover and return days Boat handovers always take place Monday to Saturday. Returns also take place Monday to Saturday. The marina is closed on Sundays. Our home port is in the Marina Röblinsee in Fürstenberg an der Havel. Please note that our houseboats cannot sail on the Müritz due to restrictions. We would like to inform you about some important points about renting our houseboats: Minimum number of people on board: At least 3 adults are required for the manoeuvrability and locking of the houseboats. Weather-related restrictions: If the wind force is 2 or higher, the marina can prevent the houseboats from being issued in order to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Charter license All boats can be driven without a license. In this case, a 3-hour charter license on site in theory and practice is mandatory. The charter license is limited to the duration of the travel period. If you have a current inland driving license, you do not need a charter license. Guests with little boating experience but with an inland boating license are welcome to book additional skipper training (45 minutes €50). Petrol consumption Petrol is billed according to consumption at the end of the trip in the marina: €3 per liter and to be paid on site. Family discount: Receive 3% for children under 15 years of age Please note that the minimum stay is 3 nights and the surcharge for stays of 3-6 nights is 15%. The guaranteed boat handover takes place at 4 p.m. However, you are welcome to arrive as early as 2 p.m. (recommended for guests with a charter license) to check in and plan your trip in the marina.

Everything was perfect in terms of the process, the condition of the boat and the comfort. I would do it again anytime
Very successful men's holiday. Great communication beforehand, all questions were answered perfectly. The boat is quite spacious, modernly equipped and the sun deck was our highlight. Driving/maneuvering is possible even after a short briefing without any practice, although it should be enjoyed with respect (locks, wind, mooring!) In itself a very successful holiday - only the price is very high. Small things (extra pumping out, for example) are charged extra and 4€/L of petrol tops it all off. If there are any corrections, it will be a 5.0 star holiday
Completely satisfied. What we liked best was the friendly contact at the beginning. Every question was answered promptly and in a friendly manner. In addition, the pictures and description corresponded exactly to what was offered. That was very important to us. The boat was brand new and therefore there was nothing wrong with its condition. A good review should also include suggestions for improvement, but we really found very few of those. It was a bit of a hindrance to our planning that the marina is closed on Sundays. So we had to postpone our trip by a day in advance. Early check-in is only 3 hours earlier and costs €90. A bit disproportionate. Check-out at 9 a.m. suited us well but was a bit early overall. Well, a boat is different to a hotel room, so I fully understand but you have to be prepared for it. Otherwise a really great experience, great modern boat and the area is amazing anyway. We were able to swim every day, cook good food and sleep in warm, clean beds. What more could you want?
