Dear travelers, Our modern and comfortable 12 m monohull sailboat welcomes you all year round to offer you an unforgettable trip to the Marquesas Islands. We have made this archipelago our playground and will take you to our most beautiful corners of paradise. I am Mathieu, captain of Ratere and lover of the Marquesas. I have been sailing on the archipelago since the beginning of 2022 and I know every corner of it. My Marquesan friends have opened their doors to me and facilitate authentic encounters with these incredible people. All the islands have their particularities and their assets. Thanks to my experience and my taste for sharing, you will undoubtedly have the chance to live unforgettable experiences. The boat is privatized for you. You book either solo, as a couple, or with friends or family. The boat has 2 comfortable double cabins with their storage spaces. We can therefore accommodate 2 to 4 travelers. With Mathieu and France, your captains and guides, you share common areas. The bathroom is practical and modern with a real shower (hot water!), a sink and an electric toilet. The saloon (lounge) is cozy and friendly thanks to the large width of the boat. We provide you with bed linen and shower towels. We attach great importance to your comfort and cleanliness. On Ratere, we take care of the meals. Mathieu has great experience as a chef in France and loves to prepare local specialties for you with local products. We love to fish and prepare our fish. We lend you equipment for snorkeling, fins, masks, snorkel, or subwing, or even hammocks for relaxing. We also know the trails, cultural sites and the most beautiful hikes very well, as well as the local guides.
